How do I download texts, and does it work offline?
Change the text from the top bar of the reading screen and download it. Texts are downloaded once and then work offline. Recordings are downloaded when you need them (to listen and memorize); you choose the quality each time, and they then work offline too.
What are the audio qualities?
Three qualities: low (32 kbps), medium (64) and high (128), mono AAC. For example the Bayquniyya recording is about 1.2, 2.3 and 4.7 MB. Pick low to save space. Manage and delete downloads in Settings → Downloads.
How does recitation work? Is my voice sent anywhere?
You download the recitation model once (about 19 MB), then recite from memory and the app follows you word by word through the microphone. The model runs on your device, offline, and your voice is never sent anywhere. The app needs microphone permission.
Accounts and sync
The app starts with a guest account: your progress is kept on your device only and does not survive a reinstall. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the account is linked to your current progress so nothing is lost, and your data syncs between your devices. Signing in is optional and unlocks no features.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Account → Delete account in the app; details are on the delete account page. To clear local audio data: Settings → Privacy.
